Menya Hanabi (麺屋はなび)
Menya Hanabi is a famous ramen shop in Shinjuku. As you can see, people often line up in front of the shop, especially at lunch hours.
The shop which originated in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, is known for their signature menu called "Taiwan mazesoba".
"Taiwan mazesoba" is a new type of ramen which consists of ramen noodles topped with green onions, seaweed, soy sauce flavored ground meat, and egg yolk. What is unique about this ramen is they don't have soup. The grand meat is well seasoned with spices, so you mix the noodles and toppings when you eat. The reason why it is called "Taiwan mazesoba" is not it is a Taiwanese dish, but the meat seasoning is similar to Taiwanese style ramen.
They have different kinds of mazesoba and also normal ramen.
