Mouko Tanmen Nakamoto is one of the hottest ramen chain shop in Tokyo. They have several shops in Tokyo area, including in Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Shibuya.

They are well known for the super spicy ramen. Many people go and see how spicy they are. Actually, the ramen is very spicy but also has much "umami (savory taste)", so most of them end up getting addicted to the ramen.
Find the red shop with the sign of "誠", and you are on the right way!

The regular and most popular ramen is called "mouko tanmen", the same name as the shop. It is actually less spicy than the other menu, but VERY spicy for most people. The ramen soup is miso-flavored and has a lot of vegetables and there is tofu over the noodles. It's spicy yet has other flavors, which makes you want to eat more.

Hokkyoku ramen (830 yen)

Look at the red soup! It looks SO spicy, and actually, it is! If you are into spicy food and wish to try the spiciest ramen ever, just give it a try!

Hiyashi miso ramen (800 yen)

They also have tsukemen style ramen where you dip the noodles in a soup. The soup is, of course, spicy and also cold.

Lastly...

If you like spicy food, you will like their ramen! Mouko Tanmen Nakamoto is definitely the "hottest" ramen shop in Tokyo you need to try!
