Monster Ramen Challenge | "Yaro Ramen" Akihabara, Tokyo

Japan is pretty well-known for its crazy amount of food challenge restaurants! Everything from giant sushi, to huge piles of beef, all-you-can-eat fried chicken and more. Yaro Ramen in downtown Akihabara, Tokyo is a standout amongst the crowd. The ramen looks good here, and if you don't wanna eat for the rest of the week, maybe this place is for you!

Giant Ramen Bowl! Heaven or Hell?

Just a stone's throw away from Akihabara station is Yaro Ramen, somewhat of a speciality ramen joint serving one of the biggest ramen bowls you can find in Tokyo.

So is it heaven or hell?

It really depends on the way you look at it... Heaven if you love stuffing your face and perhaps not eating for an entire week.

...or hell if the thought of just thinking about trying to eat this monstrosity of a thing kind of ruins your day *prepare gag bucket*
The ramen bowl is so big here that even Jason Statham made an appearance from the movie "The Mechanic", because of course, you need to be like him to take on this challenge!
All jokes aside, the ramen looks pretty darn delicious here, and despite what you may think about devouring a huge bowl of noodles, sprouts, and meat, Yaro Ramen should be on your list of things to do in Tokyo if you're looking for something out of the ordinary for your holiday or weekend away!
The Mega Buta Yaro Ramen will set you back about 1200 yen and it will leave you fuller than a butcher's pup. But one thing it won't do is disappoint your taste buds!
Just look at that char siew pork!

Check out Chris and Natsuki battle over a 10,000 yen bet!

Are you ready for the Challenge?

Are you willing to show your friends how much you can devour?

Make sure to put Yaro Ramen on your to-do list for crazy stuff in Tokyo!
