Hang Out With Moomins In Two Cafes In Tokyo!

How can this idea not sound appealing to anyone who was brought up watching the endearing Moomin characters? You can find all of them, the family, Snuffkin, and Little My hanging out in these two Moomin-themed cafes in Tokyo.

Moomin Cafes In Tokyo!

Moomin, a character from Finland, is one of the most popular characters in Japan. What's not to love about the Moomin characters! There are two locations in Tokyo where you can enter the Moomin world for a short while.

Moomin House Cafe (Near The Skytree Tower)

Just a minute walk from Tokyo Sky Tree station, you will see a cute, cute cafe! You also get to have Moomin’s or other character's company, which is super cute! There is also a shop that sells Moomin themed products.
It is a very popular cafe so you may have to wait in line for a little, but if you are a Moomin lover, it will definitely be worth the wait!

Moomin Bakery & Cafe (Near Tokyo Dome)

Located on the north side of the Dome and only a few minutes walk from Korakuen station, if you're a Moomin fan, mark this as a must see when you're in Tokyo or visiting the Dome.

Moomins!

What's so exciting is that you get to hang out with life-size Moomin dolls and many of the menu items are decorated with Moomin references. Notice the Groke ghost on this latte art!
The menus are slightly different at both locations but you'll find a variety of Scandinavian dishes such as this one.
You can have drinks, desserts, and dishes for breakfast dinner or lunch.
Cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate! European sweets are quite popular.
The details in each plate are quite impressive. After latte art, the Moomin restaurants of Tokyo have invented rice art!
Cream bread in the form of Little My! This is essentially what is called in Japanese a "ningyoyaki". You can find them in Asakusa in the shape of pigeons sold by street vendors. There are so many interesting menu items. Moomin fans will have to go several times!
