The Best Restaurants in Daikanyama for a Fun Day Out With Friends!

Daikanyama is a gorgeous neighborhood in Shibuya. It is walking distance from Ebisu, where there is also a ton of things to do. In Daikanyama, there are so many delicious restos and fun bars to choose from, so it might seem a little overwhelming. So we narrowed it down to the must-try restos in Daikanyama. Although, Daikanyama is one of the fancier neighborhoods in Tokyo, these restos are mostly all affordable, and have a great atmosphere. We threw in a luxrious resto in the mix, because it's well worth the visit!

Feel free to follow favy!

Ivy Place Tokyo

In trendy Daikanyama, a few minutes from Daikanyama station, Ivy Place is a great place to catch some sun outside with some friends. After spending some time at Tsutaya next door, a huge bookstore with great books, magazines and also designer goods, you can stop by Ivy Place. It's a really fashionably restaurant that serves breakfast from 7 am, and closes as a bar around 10 PM. You need to try the buttermilk pancakes!!

Monsoon Cafe Daikanyama

Monsoon Cafe is an ethnic restaurant that serves a mixture of Asian cuisine in a refined and elegant atmosphere. Yet, they offer great food at a very reasonable price.
Lunch is only 1,000 yen and you can choose between 5 dishes, and it comes with a salad and a soup! Kid's lunch is only 490 yen! So it's also family-friendly during the day!
They have wok dishes, salads, classic Vietnamese & Thai dishes. They're actually really good and cheap!

Aloha Table

Aloha Table is a Hawaiian resto in Daikanyama. It has a fun, friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Holiday and weekday lunches are about 1,000 yen. So it's affordable and good! They also have dinner courses for around 3,500-4,500 yen, and it includes an all you can drink course...not bad!!

SPRING VALLEY BREWERY TOKYO

Spring Valley Brewery is located around 5 minutes from the station. It is a really nice area to walk around in during the day, and this brewery is a great place to take a break anytime of the day. There is a nice terrace to sit on outside, but you might want to make a reservation beforehand as this restaurant fills up quickly.

Ristorante ASO

Ristorante ASO in Daikanyama is a gorgeous Italian resto. It is definitely the priciest one on this list, but it is well worth visiting due to its beautiful decor! The lunch course starts at 5,500 yen. Dinner is definitely pricier (between 12,000-23,000 yen), but it will be an unforgettable night, as it is perfect for a date or special occasion. There is also a kids menu!
