Feel free to follow favy!
ARiSE COFFEE ROASTERS
ARiSE is located around 5 minutes from Kiyosumi Shirakawa station, very close to Blue Bottle Cafe. So if you're in the mood for a "cafe brawl", you can head there next. In his small shop, the owner will warmly greet you and will make some hand drip coffee before your eyes. Tell him what you like, and he'll recommend something nice for you!
You can get coffee beans here or drip coffee, M size is 350 yen and L size is 450 yen! He has beans from all over the world: Ethiopia, Thailand, etc.
Blue Bottle Cafe
Blue Bottle Coffee is a coffee chain shop that originated in Oakland, California. It was a small shop located in a local area, but as they served the finest coffee called "third wave of coffee", using innovative technology of drip brewing and selected coffee beans, they soon got very popular and spread all over the state, and then in New York and Washington D.C.
They have branches all over Tokyo, this one is located 5 minutes from Kiyomi Shirakawa station.

Every cup of coffee is brewed for every customer in front of their eyes. So it takes longer, but tastes much better and is more flavorful.
The regular drip coffee is 450 yen. They also offer some espresso type coffee, like cafe latte (520 yen).
You can also try some of their delicious waffles!

Monz Cafe
This modern coffee shop is also very welcoming. They have an open space type cafe, with a nice terrace at the front, and a lot of seats inside. This cafe is a little outside the coffee area concentration, but it is definitely worth the short detour.
They have delicious coffee, and pastries, and some light meals as well! This cafe is affiliated to Allpress roasters, so no wonder their coffee is so good!
Sunday Zoo coffee & beans
Sunday Zoo is located 3 minutes by foot from Blue Bottle, or 10 minutes from Monz Cafe if you're still with us!
This lovely neighborhood cafe is only open from Friday-Sunday unfortunately. It's a small space, but the owner is always kind and welcoming.

The menu is quite limited, but it's worth the visit. In fact, although this neighborhood cafe is small, it has a following well outside of this area. You can either have hand-dripped coffee, cafe au lait or beans.
ALLPRESS Espresso Tokyo Roastery & Cafe
Allpress Espresso is about 13 minutes from Kiyosumi Shirakawa station or 2 minutes by foot from Sunday Zoo for my caffeine fiends! This company originally from New Zealand, has a roastery in Shirakawa. Their beautiful and inviting wooden building is a great place to come hang out with friends.

Their cafe latte is 480, and it is really good! But, then again they wouldn't be there if it weren't since the competition is so fierce! They also have smoothies and pastries to try!
Cream of the Crop Coffee
Cream of the Crop Coffee is 15 minutes by foot from Kiyosumi Shirakawa station or 10 minutes from AllPRESS Espresso. They are located in a renovated warehouse building and roast coffee beans from all over the world there.
Each cup is hand-dripped by the super kind and knowledgeable staff. Their cafe latte is 500 yen for S/600 yen for M. They have beans from Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, etc. Tell them what kind of taste you're looking for and they'll gladly recommend it for you!
