Here Are The Cafes You Must Try In Jimbocho!

Jimbocho area is mostly a business area, but there are loads of fun and delicious cafes you should go and discover. If you like reading, board games, delicious espresso or nice breakfast outside, you should check out these cafes!

Paper Back Cafe

Paper Back Cafe is a lovely space with cheap coffee, and lovely view if you like people watching.
Also, there are power sockets if you want to bring in your computer and get some work done!
The cafe is attached to a book store, so it is a perfect to relax if you're a book worm.
Book lovers, this is a must-try cafe!

Access

Paper Back Cafe is located only a few minutes from Jimbocho station (Hanzomon, Shinjuku, and Mita line), and is also walking distance from Ochanomizu Station if the Chuo or Marunouchi line is more accessible to you.

Whistler Cafe

Whistler Cafe is a Canadian dining inspired cafe. Whistler being an important ski destination in Canada, they have two other locations near ski resorts. They are especially famous for their whistler mountain roast beef and their "poutine". For those not familiar with the latter, it's a dish from Quebec that consists of fries topped with gravy sauce and melted cheese. It's great with a beer!

Access

The cafe is a 2-minute walk from Jimbocho station's A5 exit.

Asobi Cafe

Asobi, which means "playing" in Japanese, is a cafe that specializes in board games. At this cute cafe, you can play board games from all over the world while enjoying delicious food and drinks. It's a great way to spend an afternoon with friends.
There is a 500 yen cover charge, and then for each order, you get 1 hour of playing time.
For example, if you want to play for 2 hours: you can either pay the cover charge (500 yen) + order a drink (600 yen) + order some food (700 yen)= 1,800 yen OR you can pay the cover charge (500 yen)+ order 1 drink (600 yen) + pay a charge (500 yen)=1,600 yen.

Access

This cafe is only about 3 minutes from Jimbocho station.

Glitch Coffee & Roasters

Glitch Coffee & Roasters is a lovely neighborhood coffee where you can get awesome coffee. The place is quite small, but the interior and the staff are quite welcoming. It has a wooden interior like a Brooklyn cafe, and the staff are really passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. It'll become your go-to if you're staying/working in the area!

It is a 5-minute walk from Jimbocho station's exit 7.

Good Morning Cafe

Good morning cafe is a chain cafe. There have eight addresses in Tokyo: in Waseda, Sendagaya, Shinagawa, Harajuku, Toranomon, Nakano, Ikebukuro, and Nishikicho.
They originally started to offer a morning time hang out for busy people in Tokyo, but they got popular and now you can at any time of day. Their french toasts are delish, but they also have great savoury foods as well!

It's only about 3 minutes away from Jimbocho station!
