The Oak Door: For Meat-Lovers! Classy Steakhouse in Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Roppongi Hills.

A classy steakhouse in Grand Hyatt Tokyo located in Roppongi. The Oak Door serves premium steaks such Tomahawk and Wagyu in oak-wood-burning ovens. It has an amazing environment that is great for parties and is also kids-friendly. Bon appetit!

The Oak Door

The Oak Door in Grand Hyatt Hotel serves flavorful dishes ranging from the juicy Tomahawk steak to the monthly burger selection, all prepared in the fragrant oak wood-burning ovens. The restaurant has a spacious wine cellar house and a wide selection of the finest New World wines and Champagne to be paired with the meal. It has 238 seats with private dining rooms for 10-20 people. The Oak Door is also a kids-friendly and sectionalized smoking restaurant. Also, it has a perfect stylish space for parties.


Oak Door's burger is a popular menu item to order for lunch. There are 3 types of burgers: the 130g meat patty (1,700 yen), the 220g meat patty (2,200 yen) and the monthly burger (2,200 yen).

Weekday course

Oak Door serves 3 lunch courses: the Weekday Set (2,500 yen), Chef's Selection Dinner Set (3,500 yen), and Chef's Steak House Set (4,800 yen). All courses consist of a soup, a main dish, coffee or tea, and a dessert. As for the Chef's Selection Lunch Set, you can choose between clam chowder or Caesar salad. The Chef's Steak House Set has the additional chilled seafood dish.

Weekend course

The Oak Door Brunch with G.H. Mumm Brut Champagne consists of an appetizer, a soup, a main course, coffee or tea, and a dessert. That course is 5,000 yen. The course with 1 glass of Champagne is 6,600 yen and the course with free flow Champagne is 8,800 yen.

Oak Door has a terrace on which you can have afternoon tea sets from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can enjoy the beautiful sun and breeze in the open-air environment with your family, friends, and co-workers.


A la carte menu is available for dinner. The picture above features the Australian beef ribeye on the plate which is 6,200 yen for 300g.

Oak Door also serves 3 dinner courses: The Oak Door Dinner set (9,500 yen), the Chef's Selection Dinner Set (11,500 yen), and Chef's Premium Dinner Set (13,500 yen). All courses consist of an appetizer, a soup, a main dish, a side dish, coffee or tea, and a dessert. As for the Chef's Dinner Set, they have an additional chilled seafood dish.

The Oak Door Bar designed by distinguished designer Tony Chi. At the bar, you can select from a wide range of drinks from soft liquor such as wine and beer to hard liquor such as whisky and spirits. Its skilled mixologists craft a selection of seasonal cocktails and mojitos, and the bar menu includes light meal options too.

Champagne Glitz Night

Attention to Champagne lovers, The Oak Door Bar offers premium bottled Champagne at a special price on every Saturday from 6:00 p.m. – 0:30 a.m.
