THE DECK COFFEE & PIE: The Best of Both Worlds! House Roasted Coffee and Homemade Pies!

Pausa caffè! An Italian phrase for a coffee break. Having coffee and pie in a deck is perfect to start a day stress-free. THE DECK, as its name implies, offers a comfy environment like the houses in the country and yet it is in a busy city of Tokyo.

An interesting looking cafe where the whole store is covered with wood and home-like furniture. Once you stepped into the cafe, the atmosphere gives you a feeling as if you have headed back to the past in a country house. For pet lovers, this cafe welcomes you and your pets to dine-in. A total of 40 seats are available and only the seats at the terrace allow smoking.

In-House Roasted Beans

Looking at the coffee beans being poured into the roaster oven brings out a therapeutic feeling. In-house roasted beans are from Central America - Guatemala, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Southeast Asia - Indonesia.

Salty Lemon Lime Squash (450 yen) and Coffee Float (610 yen) are popular among Instagrammers. Also, The Deck serves alcohol as well. It is good when you hang out with a group of people with various preferences.

Pies & Set Menus

Other than the popular sweet pies such as Apple Crumble Pie (350 yen) and Cream Cheese & Cherry Crumble Pie (350 yen), the cafe serves a wide-range of meal pies such as Lobster & Tomato Bisque Pot Pie (580 yen) and the Asian-flavored Butter Chicken Curry Pot Pie (560 yen). Mouth watering delicious pies are all homemade and served fresh to the customers.

Set Menu

There is a variety of set menus offered at THE DECK. Lunch sets (11:30 am-3:00 pm) with 4 choices from pie to main sets cost 900-1019 yen. Sweets sets are popular after a meal or light meal for 926 yen. They consist of Cremia soft serve and 1 Sweet pie and a complimentary drink.


Few minutes walk from JR Yamanote line's Harajuku station (Takeshita Ex.), Metro line's Kita-Sando station or Meiji-Jingu Station.
