Indian Curry to Die For at Rasoi in Meguro!

There are many Indian curry restaurants in Japan, but some really stand out more than others. Rasoi is one of them! It is the spot you should go to for amazing Indian curry at an affordable price!

Feel free to follow favy!

Rasoi is located a 3-minute walk from Meguro Station's West Exit. The place is staffed by Indians with a great hospitality and the food is said to be really authentic.
There is a simple and nice decor. The lantern-style ceiling lamps create a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the evening.

During the day, it is definitely worth going as well because of the availability of cheap lunch sets! You can choose from a selection of 7 curries which all come with a large piece of nan bread or rice, a salad, and a chai tea, lassi or coffee. All lunch sets are below 1,000 yen except for the "special lunch set" which also comes with tandoori chicken (1,295 yen).
You can order bean, vegetable, chicken, mutton and prawn curries.
People rave about this. The butter chicken curry at Rasoi might possibly be the best that you'll ever have. Beware though, it is quite spicy. For something more mild you might want to order the prawn one.
The chicken palak (chicken with spinach) is ridiculously delicious too. Not only that, but its also loaded with nutrients.
These mutton seekh kebabs are just too good! You'll probably have enough with your curry, but get one dish of this to share if you're with company.
Craving vegetables? They have that covered too.
Once you're done with your main course, why not treat yourself to a dessert? You can order this rich mango-flavored kulfi, which is said to be a traditional Indian ice cream. You rarely see this kind of item in other Indian restaurants in Japan.
As for alcoholic drinks, the Golden Eagle beer is a pretty popular choice. A nice dinner meal accompanied with alcohol should not cost you more than 4,000 yen.
Japanese food culture enthusiast. Love to explore new areas and discover local specialties.
