Okonomiyaki Chitose (お好み焼きちとせ)

Okonomiyaki Chitose is a small local restaurant specialized in the Osaka's soul food called "okonomiyaki". It is a savory pan-fried cake (also known as Japanese pancake). The batter basically consists of eggs, flour, shredded cabbage, and other ingredients such as seafood and meat are added. After being cooked on an iron pan, the sweet and savory sauce, mayo, and other items are topped on the okonomiyaki.

They have a variety of okonomiyaki and other dishes like yakisoba (fried noodles) and sobameshi (noodles and rice fried together). All the menu items are priced reasonably, under 1000 yen. It is also very entertaining to watch the dishes being cooked in front of your eyes.

Their okonomiyaki is very flavorful and fluffy. All the ingredients just blend perfectly together. You can also choose to add seafood.

Modan yaki with pork (700 yen)

Modan-yaki is a type of okonomiyaki which is topped with a fried egg.

Yakisoba with seafood (750 yen)

The fried noodles dish is also a must-try. The savory flavor and a light sweetness are so addictive.
