Tsukiji, the Place for an Authentic Sushi Experience in Tokyo
Tsukiji, the fish market, is the perfect place for sushi and sea food lovers, but the number of sushi restaurants could be overwhelming. So here are the selected places you might want to visit in Tokyo!
Feel free to follow favy!
Sushi Dai （寿司大）
A 10 minute walk from Tsukiji Station, you can tell how popular this place is just by seeing a long queue outside the restaurant - people line up from 3 in the morning to try their sushi. There is only 13 seats available, so plan wisely when you go. This place is famous for its delicious yet reasonably priced sushi.
Tsukiji Sushisei Honten （築地寿司清 築地本店）
If you would like to enjoy the taste of Tsukiji's fresh sea food, this is where you should stop by. About a 5 minute walk from Tsukiji station, this place has a history of offering the first sardine sushi in Japan.
Daiwa Sushi （大和寿司）
A 5 minute walk from Tsukiji-shijou station, located in the inner fish market, this place offers fresh sushi at affordable price. Again, you may have to wait in a long line, but it is worth the wait. If you are unsure of what to order, just ask for 'omakase' and the chef will choose for you.
