FRIJOLES : Burrito Joint That Satisfies Your Cravings!

Mexican food is a great choice for comfort food! Frijoles is one restaurant in Tokyo that serves delicious Mexican street food.

Feel free to follow favy!

First opened in Azabu-Juban, Frijoles now has a total of 5 branches (Azabu-Juban, Roppongi, Otemachi, Caretta Shiodome, and at Daikanyama). It serves Mexican dishes such as burritos, tacos, salads, etc. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. You can even have a chat with the people working there. It's a really laid-back atmosphere, and the interior is sleek. Your orders are made right before your eyes while you're in line at the counter.

Comfort Food

Your order goes as follows: you pick a type of dish (burrito, tacos, salad, or bowl) and choose your meat (grilled chicken, carnitas, and steak) or vegetarian toppings. Then, you choose the size of your order, either regular (from 980 yen-1,210 yen) or grande (from 1,460 yen-1,690 yen). Half & Half and Mixes are available upon ordering. The regular carnitas is a great choice and should be satisfying for a normal appetite. Salsas and toppings are complimentary free toppings. The guacamole is an extra topping for 260 yen. As side orders, you can get quesadillas, chips and single tacos. Bottomless drinks are available in the store too.

Tacos (Three)

Tacos sets are great for snack time or for a light meal.

Salad / Bowl

A salad or a bowl will look like something as shown above. That are lots of greens in a bowl which makes it a healthy meal. The staff will ask you whether to add the housemade dressing on top or to put it on a small plate beside your order.

Burrito Prep

You choose the toppings of your burritos and the staff makes it in front of you. Feel free to ask for more of a certain topping. Burritos are wrapped in aluminum foil.
