The broth is made from natural ingredients only and we love that! Yes, it's possible, and it makes the ramen taste so much better without that generic monosodium glutamate taste! Art Masashiya even goes a step further by making homemade soy sauce and flavored oil. This joint deserves its rave reviews and critics! The only downside to this ramen place is that it's only open during lunch hours.

Wagyu Horumon Yuji ("Yakiniku" Japanese BBQ)

This yakiniku restaurant is a 15-minute walk from Shibuya Station, and is located near Tokyu Hands. It’s very popular that “Yuji” is the first thing that would come into the locals’ minds when talking about boiled meat innards in Tokyo. However, this highly revered yakiniku restaurant offers other meat aside from boiled meat innards.

This is the boiled meat innards platter which stands out from the barbecue menu of Yuji. This platter has 8 kinds of meat which include fat-filled intestine and rumen sandwich, which has fat meat in between the rumen. This is eaten with a sweet and spicy soy sauce.

This is a roasted meat platter. This platter contains five kinds of meat which include misuji, sirloin, aitchbone, zabuton and round top. When craving for yakiniku, this restaurant has dishes perfect for people who want to eat a variety of meat.

Mominoki House (Vegetarian/Vegan)

If meat isn't your thing then Mominoki House is the place for you. This restaurant is in Shibuya-ku but much nearer to the Harajuku Station than it is from the Shibuya Station.
Mominoki House serves beautiful vegan dishes, such as the vegan sushi pictured above. This restaurant has amazing food, great service, and is reasonably priced too! You should try the vegetarian "karaage" (fried chicken), in this case, mock chicken.
Lunch is between 1,000-1,500 yen, and the dinner course is 4,000 yen!

Kotegaeshi ("Okonomiyaki" Japanese Savoury Pancake)

About a 5-minute walk from Shibuya station, on a sixth floor, this restaurant is a safe bet, as it is not only cheap but delicious.
Okonomiyaki style cuisine means that you'll be making your dish yourself on an iron plate at your table. It's not only good but also fun to make and very customizable. We truly suggest the roast beef okonomiyaki. It's very well regarded restaurant in Shibuya and well-worth the visit if you want to have okonomiyaki!

Kamiyama (Soba Noodles)

Kamiyama is the best soba restaurant for a special occasion and an evening date, for its fancy atmosphere and great service. Located a 12-minute walk from Shibuya station.

You can choose between the regular soba menu (1000-2400 yen) and a course menu (4000 or 5000 yen) consisting of soba and some side dishes. Their soba noodles are freshly made every morning and have a sophisticated flavor. They also offer a wide selection of sake from all over the country too.

Tiger Gyoza Hall ("Gyoza" Chinese Dumplings)

Tiger Gyoza Hall is a 10-minute walk from Shibuya station, not too far from the Bunkamura Museum.
This resto's specialty is gyoza, but they also have a Chinese food menu. It's cheap and delicious, and they also have a good selection of craft beer and cocktails!
A big perk of this resto is that it is smoke-free!

Lastly...

If you're looking for a good restaurant in Shibuya that is reasonably priced, these are some of your best bet! There is a lot of variety to choose from and these restaurants are some of the best in their own genres.
