Coffee addicts: Here's Your New Bucket List for Coffee Around Shibuya, Tokyo

Coffee isn't only about getting your caffeine fix. When done right, good coffee is an art. Sometimes you want to stray away from the major coffee chains, and you want to add a little local flavor to your brew. If this is the case, this are places you need to visit in Shibuya for your cup of Joe.

Feel free to follow favy!

Little Nap Coffee Stand

Just a short walk from Yoyogikoen station, this tiny little cafe is quite the gem. There isn't much place to sit inside, but on a sunny day you can always sit outside. The staff is very welcoming and nice and the coffee is strong and flavorful. You can also buy ice cream, sweets, beans, etc. But shh! Let's keep this place a secret! :)

Fuglen Tokyo

This cafe is also located close to Yoyogikoen station and to Yoyogi Hachiman station. The original store is in Oslo, Norway. This branch also serves great coffee. During the day it is a coffee shop, and in the evening, it turns into a bar. This place is great for chatting with friends, or for studying/reading. There are even seats outside to enjoy your coffee on a sunny day. The coffee was flavorful, the pastries were great and the service was friendly!

The Roastery by Nozy Coffee

Close to Omotesando station (about 10 minutes on foot), this cafe offers a cozy atmosphere, as well as delicious coffee and great sweets. The staff is also super friendly and you can sit outside on a sunny day. Great place to stop by while you're strolling around Omotesando.

About Life Coffee Brewers

A few minutes walk from the world's busiest intersection (close to Shibuya station), this coffee stand serves great coffee. It might not look like much, but they sure make delicious coffee! They offer excellent and friendly service. We suggest you skip the major chains and try having coffee at this little gem.

Be A Good Neighbor

This cute little stand in Sendagaya, has awesome coffee and great sweets (try the lemon cake!). Plus, the staff was very friendly! The place in itself is tiny, but there's a bench outside to enjoy your brew on a sunny day.

Sarutahiko Coffee

The Ebisu flagship store opened five years ago, but now there are five stores in Shibuya alone. This cafe is always busy, especially on the weekends. The flagship store only has a few seats inside, but there are also a few seats outside. The service is always friendly and welcoming and the coffee is great. Although Tokyo is a huge city, it is surprisingly hard to find a good brew, hence this coffee's popularity! They also have great sweets. You should try the croissant set!
