Isn't it amazing how you can make a satisfying and tasty meal with only a few simple ingredients, mostly leftovers? But shh! You don't need to tell anyone.

Of course, chahan is delicious on its own, but if you're feeling like a typical home-made Japanese meal, why not make some "gyoza", a.k.a, the most perfect accompaniment to Japanese fried rice. Gyozas are meat-filled dumplings and are absolutely amazing, especially if they are home-made and not frozen.
