Best Restaurants in Minato, Tokyo!

Minato is a business district in Tokyo with many high-rise buildings and embassies. Who says business district says cheap and delicious lunches and a lot of places to have a nice drink and dinner!

Kobe Beef Kaiseki 511

As you may have guessed from the restaurant's name, they specialize in Kobe beef dishes. The lunch set is very affordable and starts at ¥1,200. For a more luxurious set, you can have the charcoal cooked sirloin steak or filet for ¥9,500 and ¥12,300 respectively. The dinner is "kaiseki-style" which is a series of small and delicate dishes. The course is between ¥8,000 and ¥15,800. You can also for an excellent wine pairing.

Jomon Roppongi

Jomon in Roppongi is a trendy, yet authentic yakitori (grilled chicken) restaurant. The staff is very friendly and speaks English, but if ordering makes you nervous, you can get the course. It's only 3,980 yen and it's also all-you-can-drink for 2 hours! Not bad at all!
This place is rather small so it is not a place for groups, it is easier to be only two people.

CICADA

The resort-like restaurant gives out a colonial European ambiance rooted in local communities. The choice of furniture and interior will make you feel as if you are on holiday near the Mediterranean Ocean.CICADA's cuisines consist of dishes representative of the cuisine of the Mediterranean countries. You'll find on the menu everything from hummus and Lebanese mezze to tagines (beef, lamb or fish) from Morocco, and other Mediterranean delicacies. CICADA also has a vegetarian menu. The weekend lunch course is 4,800 yen and for dinner, you can order a variety of dishes you can share.

Narisawa

The chef Yoshihiro has put particular detail into the core theme of each dish he brings to life. Matching the smell, texture, and landscape of the ingredients he brings a certain aspect of nature to his creations. He wants guests to fall in love with the Japanese seasons and take them on an adventure through food.
Narisawa serves a "Omakase-style" course, literally meaning the create a daily tailored set menu for their guests. They also cater for dietary restrictions or allergies - just mention it to them when you make a reservation.
There's also a huge selection of sake available for pairing with your meal.
Lunch 12pm ~ (L.O 1pm): 25,000 yen (29,700 yen inc. tax and service fee)
Dinner 6:30pm ~ (L.O. 9pm): 30,000 yen (35,640 yen incl. tax and service)

Tokyo Shiba Tofuya Ukai

This restaurant is a traditional style Kaiseki restaurant in Shibakoen. It is a walkable distance from Onarimon or Kamiyacho station. The restaurant is located right under the Tokyo tower, so not only do you get its view, but you can also see the beautiful traditional garden. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese experience with a breath-taking view and delicious Japanese cuisine, this is the place to go during your trip in Tokyo.It is a set menu with 8-9 courses and specializes in tofu dishes, and they are absolutely delightful dishes.
The lunch courses are 5,940 yen on weekdays (and 7,560 yen on weekends); the dinners courses are between 10,800 and 16,200 yen.
