Soboro Donburi 三色そぼろ丼

Soboro donburi is a very easy and quick recipe you can make when you are hungry and can't wait to make something more elaborate. Not only is it simple, but it's also quite addictive. Just a few ingredients, and bam! You got yourself a tasty and flavorful meal. Chicken and eggs with a ginger zing. Yum!

Soboro Donburi Recipe

<Ingredients>
-1 tbsp of oil
-225g of minced chicken
-1 tsp of grated ginger
-1 tbsp of sake
-1 tbsp of mirin
-2 tbsp of soy sauce
-2 tsp of sugar
-4 eggs
-1/4 tsp of salt
-2 tsp of sugar
-2 bowls of cooked rice
-1 scallion chopped

<Directions>
1. In a frying pan, add the soy sauce, the sugar, the sake, the grated ginger and its juice. Mix it together, add the chicken and mix well. Let it marinate
2. In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and salt
3. Cook the chicken over low heat and separate the chicken so that chunks don't form
4. Once the chicken is cooked, turn the heat to high so that the chicken cooks in its own oil. Cook it until the chicken has a nice brown color
5. In a frying pan, cook the eggs on medium-low heat. Stir vigorously with 2 pairs of chopsticks in order to scramble the eggs into tiny pieces.
6. Over a bowl of rice, cover half with the eggs, and the other half with chicken. Cover with chopped scallions.
7. Enjoy tomodachi! :)
