Spicy Mutton Curry At Momo No Mi In Suidobashi, Tokyo!

This resto makes delicious spicy mutton curry. The meat was cooked for many hours so the lamb is incredibly tender. The chef uses secret spices to make his delicious dishes, come try the restaurant's specialty, mutton curry!

"Momo No Mi" is only 3 minutes away from Suidobashi Station. The curry restaurant opened in January 2017. This small hidden restaurant is famous amongst curry lovers because of its highly-rated dishes.

The restaurant has a stylish interior where 8 people can sit at tables, or 10 people can sit at the counter. A lot of people working in the area stop by to have lunch there, but it's a rather diverse crowd at night since even people on dates stop for a delicious meal.

The Chef Learned How to Make Mutton Curry In India

The mutton curry (¥ 1,050) comes with curry sauce, Japanese rice, tal beans, and vegetables.

The owner studied cuisine in India and uses a variety of secret spices to make his specialty dish. He uses Japanese rice which offers a sweetness that blends very well with the Indian curry.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Tender Lamb

The lamb is cooked with the bone for many hours so it gives a very deep umami taste and makes the meat incredibly tender.

For those who don't like lamb, the smell is canceled out by the mix of spices.

The dish is also served with a side of tal. The sweetness of the beans offers a nice change of taste and blends perfectly with the spices of the curry.
