Spice Box is only a 3-minute walk from Ogawamachi Station. The owner is Japanese and learned Indian cuisine at a 5-star hotel in India. Spice Box is one of the rare restaurants in Tokyo to serve South Indian cuisine.

The resto has 3 counter seats and 14 table seats. It has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. You can go for lunch or dinner.

This is the Chicken Biryani (1,580 yen).
Once the chef takes off the aluminum foil, the smell of coriander and spices will tickle your senses. It is served with a yogurt sauce and red onions.

The dish is topped with fried onions, cashews, raisins and coriander. It is grilled in the oven and is made with layers of chicken, green onions, ginger, garlic, spices, tomatoes, cashew paste, yogurt, etc. Each bite is like a party in your mouth, you definitely have never had anything like this before! It's heavenly!
