Soy Sauce Eggs: Super Easy Recipe
Have you ever tried soy sauce eggs? They're super easy to make and also delicious. This will be the simplest recipe you can add to your Japanese recipes list.

Soy Sauce Eggs: Nitamago (煮玉子)

Ingredients (4 servings)
-4 eggs
Soy sauce based sauce
-1/4 cup of soy sauce
-1/4 cup of sake
-1/4 cup of mirin (sweet sake)
-1 small spoon of sugar
-Some dashi powder (if you like)

Directions
Step1: Boil the water in a pan and make a boiled egg. (If you like to make your eggs soft-boiled, boil for 6 minutes and let them cool down in icy cold water for 3 minutes.)
Step2: While boiling your eggs, mix the other ingredients to make the marinade sauce.
Step3: Peel the shell off from the egg and soak them in the sauce. (The amount of time you marinade is completely up to you, but about a day will be perfect.)
The sauce can be used as a seasoning for other dishes.

The sauce is also useful when making some simmered pork

Step2: Heat the pan well and grill the surface of the pork chunks. (There is no need to heat them well-done. Just only make the surface crispy!)
Step3: Pour in the sauce and lower the fire to low heat. Add the leek and simmer them for several hours. (Sometimes flip the side of the porks.)
Step4: Slice the pork chunks and serve! Ready to enjoy!
