Omen Kyoto: One Of Kyoto's Best Udon Noodles!

Kyoto City

Omen is a lovely traditional restaurant in Kyoto which serves the best homemade udon noodles you've ever had. While in Kyoto, you need to stop here at least once for a uniquely Japanese experience. Victim to its own popularity, it might be necessary to wait in line to get a seat at this lovely resto.

Omen

This lovely resto is located near the Ginkaku-ji (the silver temple) and the Philosopher's path. It is a great place to stop before or after visiting the temple. You will have delicious and authentic udon in a Japanese setting. The staff do not necessarily speak English, but they make up for it in friendliness. Rest assured, they have English menus!

Omen's Menu

They don't have a very elaborate menu, however, whatever you might order here is unmistakenly delicious! The "omen" udon dish is ¥1,150. For ¥3,080 you can get a variety of 5 dishes, including a small portion of udon noodles. This is a great way to sample a variety of dishes.
The duck udon is also highly recommended!
Wouldn't you like to try a variety of delicious Japanese dishes? They are all seasoned and prepared carefully. What a treat for the senses! Not only is beautifully presented but incredibly delicate and delicious. This is why it is a truly Japanese experience!
Why not pair it with a delicious sake or a Japanese beer!

Finally...

They have 3 locations in Kyoto and even one in NY! So hopefully you'll have the chance to visit one of their locations!
Have a lovely dining experience!
