AnimeJapan is one of the biggest gatherings of the anime and manga industry in the world. It has been held annually at the Tokyo Big Sight Building in Odaibo since 2014. Prior to this, the event was known as the Tokyo International Anime Fair.

What To Expect

You'll find in the exhibition hall booths from all the major players of the Japanese manga and anime industry, as well as international from abroad, from which you can buy products and memorabilia.
Impressive displays of famous characters from the anime world are placed in the public hall.
You'll love to see these beautifully crafted displays whether you are an anime fan or not!
Cosplay is an important part of the show too. Many fans go dressed up in their favorite anime characters.
There are many fans of Attack Of Titan, and for the 2017 edition, there was a huge display dedicated to the famous franchise.

If you are a huge anime fan, this event is a must-go! You'll see have the chance to meet many people with the same interest and get your hands on some rare goods. There are also live performances by idol groups. Buy your tickets at the event's location from 5 AM. Prices are ¥2,200, free for people under 12.
