Shindax Karaoke is one of the major names in the karaoke industry in Japan. It is knowns for being mid-range in price, having some rooms with luxurious decors that can accommodate large groups (rooms available depend on the location), and for having a good food and drink menu.

Monday to Friday:
- ¥300
Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays:
- ¥350

Monday to Thursday:
- ¥400
Friday to Sunday, national holidays and days before national holidays:
- ¥450

Prices are ¥50 less per 30 per minutes if you are a member.

Free Time

Monday to Friday:

Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays:
- ¥1,700

Monday to Thursday:
- ¥1,950
Friday to Sunday, national holidays and days before national holidays:
- ¥2,200

Prices are ¥200 less if you are a member.



Shidax is known to have a pretty good food menu for a karaoke box. You can try their famous pizzas for just ¥790.

Party Plates

They have party plates that are popular with some skewered beef and giant shrimps (¥1,980).

Fried Potatoes

Their fried potatoes (¥820) which come in 6 different flavors are one of the staples people have when they go to Shidax.


Want something sweet? Shidax' got you covered with some of the most beautiful parfaits you can find at a karaoke box. These are ¥690.

Drink Menu

They have a huge selection of beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) that include beers, ciders, shochu with tonic water drinks, shochu, high balls, 14 kinds of cocktails, umeshu (plum wine), wine, sake, floats and many types of soft drinks too. If you order a la carte, they are ¥400 each but there is an all-you-can-drink option at every location (price varies).

Songs In English

Shidax is one of the major karaoke boxes in Japan, so not only can you browse through tens of thousands of songs in English, but you can also find plenty of songs in Chinese and Korean!
