Wakayama City

Porto Europe is a full-scale replica of the streets in Europe. Can you imagine walking through the streets of France, Italy & Spain in the same day, all the while having a beautiful view of the ocean? There is also an amusement park with rides for children and adults!

It is a great place for a date as it has a very romantic atmosphere in the evening by the waterside. And during the day, it is a great place for families as well. Your children will really enjoy the atmosphere, the good food and the fun rides!
There are many nice photo spots like this one around Porto Europa!

What To Do

There are many different rides and attractions to try, such as a high-diving water ride that takes you splashing through water, a 4D theatre a 48m Ferris wheel, a teacup ride, etc.
Walking through the streets is quite a delightful experience. Would you say this is more Spanish, French or Italian-style?

Entrance Fee

Adults:¥3,500
Children:¥2,900

What Else?

In the area, there is also the Kuroshia Market where you can have fresh fish. Have you ever seen a tuna preparation show? You can see it twice a day here.
You can also buy fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms in Wakayama, a magnificent hot spring spot with a view on the ocean, and a hotel!

Finally...

Be sure to visit Porto Europa with your friends, SO, or family, you are bound to have a fun-filled day!

I love travelling and discovering new cuisines. Japan has a panoply of local dishes to try. I also love yoga, coffee, reading, and cycling.
