Wakayama Adventure World: A Theme Park, A Zoo & An Aquarium!

Wakayama Adventure World is such an exciting place to spend the day. You can start the day by visiting the pandas, stop by to see the cheetas, and then head over to the aquarium to see the dolphins. After lunch, you can take a ride on the Ferris wheel to have a stunning view of the ocean and then hop on some exciting rides!

Zoo & Aquarium

There is a zoo on site where you can see many kinds of rare animals, such as pandas, cheetas, elephants, lions, and giraffes!
The pandas are particularly popular. Well, it's no wonder! Look at them! Such fluffy and cute creatures!
Not to mention there is also an aquarium where you can see marine animals, such as dolphins!!

Play Zone Outdoors

If seeing the animals wasn't exciting enough, there is also an outdoor theme park! There is an impressive Ferris wheel with a view of the ocean, a huge rollercoaster, a Merry-go-round, go-karts, etc!
If it's rainy, some rides can also be enjoyed as they are protected by a dome.

Bonus Info

On certain nights, you can even go in for an exciting night safari!
It is from April 28th to May 5th.

What to eat?

If you like cute food, this will be food heaven! There is more than a dozen restaurants on site where you can have a meal or take-out!
So many delicious panda-themed dishes and desserts you will want to try!
How adorable are these panda dangos (rice balls)! They are pretty hard to resist!
Good thing this theme park is so huge, you'll be able to work up an appetite and try a lot of the tasty food on site.

Admission & Opening Hours

<Admission>
Senior (65+): 4,000 yen
Adult (18+): 4,500 yen
Junior (Senior High-School & Junior High School Students): 3,500 yen
Children (Elementary Students Ages 4+): 2,500 yen

<Opening Hours>
The park is usually open from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, but is closed sometimes in the middle of the week, and can be open later on certain days. It is recommended to check the website.
