Pompompurin...?

People who are into the "kawaii" culture are Japan might be familiar with this character. He's a beret-wearing dog that lives in sister's house's entryway. He loves anything that is soft and taking naps. His name "purin" is a derivative of the Japanese pronunciation for pudding.
Pompompurin In Harajuku, Tokyo

The endearing character has been growing in popularity ever since his creation more than 20 years ago. He now has a few cafes across Japan (Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama), including a popular branch in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Walking into the custard yellow cafe is like entering Pompompurin's current residence called the Pompom Room. The ambiance is quite laid back and comfortable. You can spend a relaxing time there.

The Harajuku Cafe is located at a 4-minute walk from the Harajuku Station (Takeshita Exit). It's on the 3rd floor of CUTE CUBE HARAJUKU.
