Where To Grab Lunch Around Gotemba Station

Shizuoka

Gotemba Station is in Shizuoka and is one of the major stations connecting to Mount Fuji and Hakone. It also has a huge outlet mall for those who love to shop.

Uokei 魚啓

Uokei is a seafood restaurant which serves affordable sashimi dons (sashimi over a bowl of rice). If you worked up an appetite, you're at the right spot because you can ask for some huge portions! Their fried oysters are also delicious.

Kura Sushi くら寿司

Kura Sushi is a conveyor belt type sushi restaurant near Gotemba Station. Most of their dishes are 100 yen, even the more expensive fish like tuna and "uni" (sea urchin). They have other types of dishes that are suitable for children, such as curry. They have so many choices. You can order all types of delicious desserts, and finish your meal with a nice latte. Ha!

Gotenba KAMEYA 御殿場カメヤ

Gotenba Kameya is in close proximity to Gotemba's Peace Park. This restaurant is mainly geared towards large tourist groups and is a good place to have a tasty and cheap Japanese meal. They have a lot of popular Japanese dishes, such as mackerel, tempura, udon, etc. You can get a nice and filling set for 1,000 yen to 1,800 yen.

Sawayaka さわやか

Sawayaka is a family-friendly restaurant, which specializes in charcoal-grilled dishes. They serve dishes such as Hamburg steaks, steaks and hamburgers. For lunch, a set is about 1,000 yen. It is a great place to take children.

Yakiniku Yoshino 焼肉よしの

Yakiniku Yoshino is a chain yakiniku restaurant where you can get tons of beautiful Japanese beef cuts, such as kalbi or tripes. Japanese people are very fond of beef tongue, it's something nice to try if you've never had it. You can expect to pay around 2,000 yen for lunch, and 4,000 for dinner.
