Bills Japan is a restaurant chain that originates from Australia. It has become all the rage in the capital region, and Yokohama's branch couldn't have been located in a better place: the Akarenga Wearhouse building. It's the perfect atmosphere to have a nice breakfast or an afternoon coffee break. The bay window terrace is particularly pleasant. Their claim to fame is their fluffy pancakes!
Goku Teahouse 悟空茶荘
Goku Teahouse is a Chinese cafe that serves sweets and truly beautiful flowering teas in transparent teapots. You'll be glad you stopped here if you plan to visit Yokohama's famous Chinatown. Not only are the menu items excellent, but the decor is one of the quaintest you'll experience in the district. You might want to try some fine Chinese teas such as oolong while you're here.

This one is pretty self-explanatory! Hard rockers in Japan and around the world have made this one a pillar of the cafe/bar scene in Yokohama for more than 20 years now. The place is conveniently located in the downtown core of the city, near the iconic Landmark Tower (tallest building in Yokohama). You can have some of the most amazing American-style burgers here (with loads of bacon and various other toppings!), but if you want something more cafe-like, they've got you covered too with their sweets and coffees.
Pompompurin, the beret-wearing pudding dog is a super popular character by the Sanrio company (the same company that has brought us Hello Kitty).
