Ebisu Pan: Some Damn Good Cheap Bread Rolls In Ebisu, Tokyo

All the savoury and sweet bread rolls at Ebisu Pan (えびすぱん) are under ¥300. The fillings are super nice and fresh because the cafe gets everything directly from local producers. The bread is from a famous bakery in Tokyo too! This is the perfect place for a cheap lunch in Ebisu!

A Cute Cafe-Style Eatery In Ebisu That Serves Some Of The Best Bread Roll Sandwiches

Opened since March 2017, Ebisu Pan is located at around a 7-minute walk from the Ebisu station (east exit).

They have 20 kinds of sandwiches on the menu, each under ¥300. Most customers that go there have 2 or more. You can order to go or eat in.

They're not only cheap but good too! The bread is made from the famous Shimbashi Bakery.

Egg Bread Rolls

Their egg bread rolls are one of the most popular items. Made from top-quality eggs from the Ito Poultry, each sandwich has a luscious filling which contains about 1.5 eggs and some mayo. The price is only ¥180.

Sweet Bread Rolls

You can also have some dessert kind of bread rolls such as this Mascarpone cheese and sweet anko beans from Hokkaido. It has the texture of a thick whipped cream that melts in your mouth. This one is ¥250.

Smocked Mackerel Made In-House

The place is really particular about all the ingredient it uses. From the cutting to the smoking, they make the filling of their smocked mackerel bread roll (¥280). A must-try!

Homemade Drinks Too!

They make some really refreshing homemade beverages too that go really well with their bread rolls. On the left is a berry mix juice and on the right is a lemon and rosemary juice. Both have some vinegar syrup.

This is the perfect place to have a reasonably-priced lunch in the posh Ebisu district. The place is opened until 6 PM.
