Syoumon is a lovely place to try authentic Hakata ramen and other Hakata specialties. Their squid sashimi is delicious and so is the yakisoba! They don't specialize in yakitori per se, but you get to try loads of local dishes and Japanese classics at this restaurant. It also happens to be really cheap, so you get to try tons of different dishes. It's a good place to bring a a group of friends.
