Beef Kitchen Stand Serves Its Signature Meet Dishes For Just ¥290!

Beef Kitchen Stand (ビーフキッチンスタンド) is located a 3-minute walk from the Seibu Shinjuku Station or about a 7-minute walk from the JR Shinjuku Station. They specialize in beef cuisine, and their signature dishes are the beefsteak and the Hamburg steak. The price is more than reasonable at just ¥290 a piece. Order those foods and pair them with one of their many wines or high ball drinks for a great time!

Juicy Beefsteak!

"Famous Beefsteak" [¥290/50g]
Most people that go to Beef Kitchen Stand order the "Famous Beefsteak" (名物ビーフステーキ). You hear it being grilled on an iron plate and its irresistible scent fills the restaurant. It's made of Australian beef. The outer part is crisp and the rare inside is really tender and juicy. You can really taste the natural umami flavour of the beef. It has some garlic chips as a topping which give a nice accent too.
You can eat it as is or add some sauces that are provided at the tables. There are two kinds: a garlic-based one and an onion and soy-based one.

Also Try The Hamburg Steak!

Hamburg Steak [¥290/60g]
The Hamburg Steak is also very popular. It has a good amount of onions in it and the demi-glace sauce on with just the right balance of sweet and savoury tastes. If you go there, this is another item you should try.

Beef Heart For Something Light!

Beef Heart [¥290]
The heart is also cooked on a piping hot iron plate. With a low fat content, it's a pretty light choice that is simply seasoned with salt and pepper.

Ahijo [¥199]
Try the Ahito made with simmered beef giblets! This rich dish has lots of garlic and a rich savoury taste that you'll love.

Tofu Pot-Au-Feu

Tofu Pot-Au-Feu [¥110]
For something mild and not too rich, you can try this Tofu Pot-Au-Feu. The tofu is simmered in the broth long enough for it to have plenty of flavours. This is the ideal dish to order as the last item of your meal.

Matsumoto Rice

You can even receive one more serving of barley rice for free!
If you want to have a bowl of rice with some toppings, this is a good, healthy choice. The Matsumoto rice bowl has a soft boil egg, some natto and finely chopped leaks as a topping, and in it there is a very savoury Japanese soup broth.

"Kobore" Wine (Overflowing Wine)

"Kobore Wine", white or red [¥390]
Pair your meat dishes with some wine that overflows ("kobore" in Japanse) - literally - from its glass. The price is very reasonable for the amount you are served!
