When you think of cookies, "Cookie Time" probably comes to mind. Cookie Time, which has been using the same beloved recipe for 35 years, has now started selling cookie dough in Harajuku, Tokyo!

You probably remember seeing your parents making cookie dough and stealing pieces of cookie dough while eating it secretly. Cookie Time has prepared the cookie dough in a variety of delicious ways. Now you can have cookie dough without feeling guilty and without worrying about it being unsafe. There are so many cookie dough sweets to choose from!

How safe is it though?

The non-baked cookie dough is made without the use of eggs, and the flour was heated beforehand to make it safe for raw consumption. It can be eaten as is without worrying about food sanitation hazards.

On June 9th, 2018 (Saturday) at Cookie Time in Harajuku, Tokyo, they will start selling their cookie dough treats. Those visiting the store between 10 AM and 12 PM will receive a free mini cone as a present!
