8ablish: A vegan restaurant in Minami Aoyama

What's great about 8ablish is that you don't have to be vegan to enjoy this delicious restaurant. It is sometimes hard to find a restaurant which can accommodate everyone when you're heading out. When you're vegan, it can be a tedious task to find a restaurant which your non-vegan friends also want to try. 8ablish is the perfect restaurant to please everyone.

When the plate arrived, I was awed by how beautiful the presentation was. Although I felt bad to destroy such a work of art, but the grilled vegetables smelled too good to wait. The dish changes quite often in order to always serve fresh and in-season vegetables. It was served with pesto and cashew cheese. Sometimes I wonder if I would be able to become completely vegan since I would probably miss cheese too much, but this cashew cheese made me feel like it would be possible.

The souvlaki plate is perfect for those meat-lovers you were able to drag along here. They definitely won't feel deprived as it is quite a hearty dish. The tofu, tempeh and vegetables have been seasoned with some nice spices. The tzatziki does, in fact, taste like it was made with yogurt!

They have tons of delicious dishes you should try as well. They have amazing pasta dishes which pair perfectly with their bio and organic wine selection.

If you have a sweet tooth like I do, you might want to finish the meal with one of their delectable desserts. The vegan ice cream is delicious as is but you can also have it with their different syrups, such as bergamot, berries, or in this case caramel.

If you don't know what to try, why not get the assorted desserts and try a few different ones to share...or not.

Souvenirs & Take-out

You can also get some healthy products to try at home, such as beans and homemade spices. You can also get some of their homemade cookies to bring back for a friend.

Finally...

If you want to have a delicious meal with your friend or a date in a stylish and beautiful restaurant, with delicious food, great wine pairings, and friendly staff, you should try 8ablish. If you're not vegan, you now know where to take out your vegan friend, and if you are, you'll definitely become a regular!
