Ukishima Garden (浮島ガーデン)

Ukishima Garden is a beautiful restaurant in Okinawa, which also happens to have a branch in Kyoto with a very different ambience. They have elegant and healthy lunch options for around 1,250-1,450 yen. which come with salad, a drink and for the special combo, a dessert. Okinawa is known to be a melting pot of culture and it is clearly reflected in their menu. They also have a nice selection of organic wine.

GubGub's Vegan Kitchen

GubGub's Vegan Kitchen is a lovely little cafe which serves awesome vegan comfort food/junk food. Vegan burgers? Check! Vegan Pizza? Check! Pasta? They also got you covered! There are rescue cats roaming freely in the restaurants, which also happen to make for lovely lunch partners if you came alone.

Tami’s Vegan Cafe

Tami's Vegan Cafe is a lovely cafe where you can have great vegan and even gluten-free burgers, as well as healthy and beautiful plates. Lunch is between 1,000 and 1,400 yen. You can have a drink and dessert also for 500 yen more. The desserts are also all vegan and incredible.

Detox cafe Felicidad

Detox Cafe Felicidad is a welcoming vegan cafe in Itoman, Okinawa. They offer raw food as well as vegan cuisine. Lunch is around 1,300 yen and you get to choose between many super healthy, veggie-filled plates. Your body will most certainly thank you. They have delicious smoothies as well if you want to fill up on fruits as well.

Niceness (ナイスネス)

Niceness is a wonderful cafe surrounded by plants and flowers. This cafe specializes in Nepalese curry, as well as macrobiotic and Ayurvedic diets. They use carefully selected ingredients which contain no chemicals. A curry plate is 1,350 yen with a drink; for 1,600 yen you also get dessert. You can sit outside and play with the cats. You will definitely fall in love with this place too.
