Owner's Recommendation: Have Three Different Plates

Not sure what to get? Have three different sets which will give you in total 15 sushi pieces, which is what most people eat on average. The set above is a good one to start with. It has anago, which is salt water eel, one of the signature toppings of the restaurant. The anago on this sushi is cooked. It also have uni, or sea urchin, that is supremely creamy and has a salty taste from the sea. The one in the middle is the tai, or sea bream. It also includes a classic everyone loves: the toro, or fatty tuna, that is unbelievably fresh-tasting and tender because of its high oil content. The last piece here is hamachi, or young amberjack. This plate is ¥1,100.
As a second plate, you can as for the best seasonal catches. Don't underestimate the taste of a fresh piece of ika (squid) sashimi.
As the last plate, reorder the sushi an assortment of the sushi pieces you found the most delicious. Or have another assortment of something completely different if you're in discovery mode. You can't go wrong here, everything is top quality. In total, your three plates should cost you just a little over ¥3,000. Served in a chic downtown New York restaurant, you'd probably have to pay 10 times the price for sushi of this quality.
For all foodies looking for an authentic sushi experience, Endo in Osaka should be on your list of things to do.
