5 Best Cheap Sushi Near Kanda Station

Kanda is a business district so you find lots of good cheap restaurants there. There are a couple of sushi bars worth the try. Here is our selection.

Feel free to follow favy!

Kaitenzushi Edokko

This super nice sushi train restaurant is right next to the Kanda station (north exit). You order from a touch panel at your table. People say that there are not that many plates revolving around the conveyor belt, which is a good thing because it means the sushi is fresh, made just when you order. For the price, you'll be surprised by the quality and thickness of the neta (toppings). You can get some good cheap beer and drinks too. Try their ryokucha-wari, which is a green tea and liquor drink for just ¥300.

Jirocho Sushi

This is a surprising little place of only counter seats with a retro charm. It doesn't have a menu so just ask for the day's recommendations. Most people report spending between ¥2,000 and ¥3,000. Their Japanese sake is apparently really good. Located near the south exit of the station.

Kanda Yoshikamake 神田よしかめ

This is another very affordable restaurant near the station. On top of the typical menu items you find at this kind of sushi bar, it also has quite a variety of maki sushi (rolled sushi). It has about 40 seats and has the vibe of an izakaya. There is a special on Saturday where you can have 10 pieces of nigiri sushi for just ¥1,070 including taxes.

Tachiguizushi Megumi 立ち寿司恵み

Tachiguizushi means to eat sushi while standing. This is a common type of sushi bar that is known to serve quality sushi at a bargain price. You can get a set of 12 for instance for ¥1,700. This small place can accommodate up to eight people.

Kanda Edokkozushi 神田江戸ッ子寿司

This is another Edokko restaurant in Kanda that is quite popular. For lunch, you can have sets that range in price from about ¥1,000 to ¥1,500 and for dinner the prices for sets are about ¥2,000.
