The Famous Robot Restaurant in Tokyo!

When people are visiting Tokyo, the first thing that comes to a lot of people's minds is the ever famous Robot Restaurant. If you want to check it out for yourself, here's what to know!

Robot Restaurant in Tokyo!

Robot Restaurant is an entertainment show restaurant located in Kabuki-cho, Shinjuku. Their staff are mostly native English speakers, so you don't have to worry about communication. They offer a very high-technology entertainment show with a taste of Japanese culture, and you can see robots dressed as ninjas, robots in kimono, etc.
They have four performances in total per day. Tickets may sell out during high-season, so don't forget to save your spot by making a reservation!
Robot Restaurant is located in Shinjuku's red light district. It's about an 8-minute walk from Shinjuku Station's East exit; 8-minutes from Shinjuku-Sanchome Station; and 5 minutes from Seibu Shinjuku Station.
There is also a shuttle bus service available if a reservation is made through the hotel concierge. The reservation must be made 4h prior to the show and the bus capacity is 8 people. During peak season, shuttle buses might not be available.

Schedule

There are 4 shows every day!
-First stage: The opening act starts at 3:10 PM/ The main show at 4 PM
-Second stage: The opening act starts at 5 PM/ The main show at 5:55 PM
-Third stage: The opening act starts at 7 PM/ The main show at 7:50 PM
-Fourth stage: The opening act starts at 9 PM/ The main show at 9:45 PM

*People must arrive 30 minutes before the show starts or their reservations can get cancelled.

Price

The entrance fee is 8,000 per person.

Menu

Although it is called a restaurant, they don't offer a meal unless you make a reservation. They sell two kinds of bento for 1,000 or 1,500 yen: a grilled beef bento box or a sushi bento box.

Please note...

There are no refunds unless the show is cancelled.
After 3 PM, you cannot change the number of guests attending the show.

There is a dress code: people with sunglasses and large costumes are not allowed. If you a tattoo, it is asked that you cover it. And drunk customers will be turned away.
Have a fun evening enjoying this explosion of colours and sounds. The show is 90 minutes long and will feel like a drug-induced trip. You'll see the actors holding battles and dancing and also singing. You won't know what hit you!
