Feel free to follow favy!
Mawashizushi Katsu 回し寿司 活
This is a sushi train restaurant located on the 10th floor of the Sky Building. You order from an ipad2 your order that comes on a sushi "lane". There are five lanes of different speed apparently. Prices for a plate generally range from ¥160 to ¥450. They have special monthly seasonal items that you should try if you go there. This is one of the best places in Yokohama for affordable sushi judging by the highly positive online reviews.
Located at a 10-minute walk from Yokohama Station.
Kodai Suzumezushi 小鯛雀鮨
Considering the elegance and the quality of the restaurant, it's almost incomprehensible that you can get a sushi meal for under ¥3,000 or under (sets of 8 to 10 pieces that sometimes come with small sidedishes as well sushi as a savoury custard pudding called chawanmushi). The restaurant is famous for serving Osaka-style sushi. You can also order more luxurious courses that go up to ¥7,000.
Located a 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station.
Kaitenzushi Uohama 回転寿司 魚浜
This sushi train restaurant is also highly recommendable. It has tuna nigiri at the unbeatable price of ¥100 and also a special of the day at that same price. You can choose from 10 different kinds of one-cup sake drinks that are cheap too to go with your meal. But quite interestingly, one of the major reason why people like this sushi bar is because they serve some pretty awesome tamagoyaki (Japanese style omelette) grilled right before your eyes. Make sure to order one of those if you go.
Located a 4-minute walk from Yokohama Station.
Amimoto Izu 網元 伊豆
You'll love this place for the huge size sushi pieces you get for a reasonable price. There are lunch sets that are between ¥900 and ¥2,200 (and what is great, lunch is until 5 PM!). The taste is good too because everything gets delivered from the market on the same day it is used. If you order a la carte, the prices are between ¥140 to ¥620.
Located a 2-minute walk from the Yokohama Station.
Sushi Yuuraku すし遊洛
This is another restaurant that is totally worth the go that is located on the 10F of the Sky Building. Their sets are around ¥1,400 and their kaisendon (rice topped with a multitude of sashimi toppings) are also worth it. Apparently, they are also particular about their sake so it would be a good place to try some.
