Their specialty is "temaki-sushi" which means hand-rolled sushi. The restaurant's concept is to serve sushi that is a fusion of traditional and modern, so they have on the many many of the staple sushi ingredients, but also some original twists such as using "cauliflower rice" instead of the traditional sushi rice seasoned with rice vinegar and mirin (sweet sake).

Aoyama Sakana 青山さなか

Aoyama Sakana serves Edomae sushi, which is the traditional style of the Tokyo region. It is relatively affordable (people report paying on average about ¥3,000) and the quality is good too. The restaurant has mainly counter seats but there is also a table with 5 seats.
Located at about a 7-minute walk from the Meiji-jingumae Station.

Sushi Take 鮨 たけ江

For a middle to high-end sushi experience, Sushi Take is one of the best places to go near Harajuku. You can have a luxurious sushi lunch for ¥5,000 or less and dinner costs usually over ¥10,000. The place is a 9-seat sushi bar where you see the sushi master at work from the counter. They serve excellent quality sake as well.
Located at around an 8-minute walk from the Harajuku Station.
