5 Best Places To Have Sushi In Tottori Prefecture
This is the list of some really well-regarded sushi restaurants in Tottori. Two are in Tottori City and three are in Yonaga. The selection includes everything from cheap sushi train to high-end.

Kitahachizushi 喜多八寿司 [Tottori City]
This is a mid-range sushi restaurant near the Tottori Station where you can pretty delectable sushi made from neta (toppings) that come mostly from the nearby Sea of Japan. It doesn't serve exclusively sushi either. Indeed they serve - and you should definitely try - some cooked fish dishes too.

Sasa Sushi 笹すし [Tottori City]
Sasa Sushi is quite high-end so you can expect some of the best sushi there is in terms of freshness and quality, coupled with the chef's special signature touch. Every dish piece is a work of art at this level. Simply put, this is widely considered one of the best in the prefecture. There are only eight counter seats so a reservation is usually required.

Gozaemonzushi 吾左衛門鮓 [Yonago]
Here you can have a special kind of sushi wrapped in smocked saba (mackerel) in kombu seaweed. It's their claim to fame and has been featured on some television programs. It's quite cheap too, and it goes really well with red wine apparently. This is a souvenir shop that doubles as a restaurant. An excellent choice in Yonago for cheap local sushi!

Sushi Yoshiki 鮨 よし喜
This is another awesome place you should visit in Yonago City. They have good sushi, but the thing you should try is the Zukeanago-don, which is a bowl of rice with various sushi toppings, the main one being anago (saltwater eel). This is a signature dish of the restaurant that you probably can't find anywhere else. It is only ¥1,100.

Sushibenkei すし弁慶 [Yonago]
This is perhaps the best sushi train restaurant in Tottori. You can sit at the counter and see the plates revolve on the conveyor belt or at one of the six tables. Prices work according to the colour of the plate. The cheapest ones are ¥120 and the most expensive ones are ¥480.
