The Best Peking Restaurants in Tokyo!


If you're craving Peking cuisine, here are some of the best restaurants to try in Tokyo! Enjoy!

Zuienbekkan 随園別館

Zuienbekkan has been in Shinjuku since 1963 and is considered one of the best around. It has a really nice authentic Chinese atmosphere; many tables are round turning ones. It's good and quite cheap too. The specialty is Beijing cuisine, gyozas, and dim sums.
It is located near the Shinjuku Sanchome Station.

Amber Palace 琥珀宮

Close to Otemachi station, in the Palace hotel, Amber Palace is next to the Imperial Palace. Amber Palace has a gorgeous setting, with a beautiful view, what a great place to bring a date! Also, it is a one-star Michelin restaurant!
Lunch is between ¥3,500 (for the dim sum set) and ¥17,000; Dinner is between ¥7,600 -¥30,000.
The dimsum is affordable and delicious, if you want to splurge a little, try the Peking duck...incredible! It is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Tokyo.

Beijing Yuzen (北京遊膳)

Beijing Yuzen is a small shop located behind Ogikubo's South Exit. You probably wouldn't notice the restaurant and could easily walk past it, but what you might notice is the line-up in front of it as it is quite popular. There are small tables inside the resto, as well as counter seats. When you go, you should definitely try the Beijing duck and the chilli shrimp! Expect to pay ¥10,000 to ¥14,999 for dinner.

Kammeihou (涵梅舫 銀座店)

Kanmeihou is a beautiful and elegant Chinese restaurant in Ginza. The presentation of the dishes is also intricate and beautiful. Some of their signature dishes include pork belly and the dim sum.
Expect to pay about ¥1,000 to ¥1,999 for lunch and ¥6,000 to ¥7,999 for dinner.

Gempourin (源烹輪)

This restaurant is a small restaurant in Kamisaginomiya, Nakano. It's a local's hidden gem as it is both delicious and cheap. Some of their most famous dishes are Mabo tofu and the tantan men. Both are spicy and amazing dishes.
Lunch is about ¥1,000 to ¥1,999 and dinner is ¥4,000 to ¥4,999.
