Harbs: An Awesome Cake Cafe In Japan

Harbs is a cake-specializing cafe that originates from Nagoya. It now has dozens of locations and is quickly expanding across the country, and especially in the Tokyo region. In Tokyo, there are locations around nearly every major stations (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Roppongi). See the link below for store locations.
All their cakes are handmade at the company's patisserie. They are delivered to the cafe on a daily basis and are never frozen. Harbs offers around 20 kinds of cakes, here are some of the most popular ones.

The Mille Crepe

The mille crepe is overwhelmingly the most popular item at the restaurant. It has six layers of crepes packed with whipped cream and seasonal fruits. One slice is ¥830.

Melon Cake

The Melon Cake is also worth the try. It is a sponge with thick layers of whipped cream and big chunks of ripe melon. ¥830 a piece.

Summer Strawberry Cake

This is another fruit-based cake that is really popular. The sweet and sour Japanese strawberries go so well with the whipped cream.

Royal Milk Tea Cake

Royal milk tea is definitely something to try in Japan. It is a sweet black tea with a high proportion of rich milk. This kind of black tea is very popular in Japan. The cake is based on this flavor.

Lunch Special

Harbs has special lunch sets too. You get a salad, a pasta dish, a drink, and a piece of cake with the set too. The lunch set is ¥1,500.
