Feel free to follow favy!

Deli Fu Cious is a fish burger resto run by a sushi chef

Only a 10-minute walk from Nakameguro Station, Deli Fu Cious is located behind an alley.
This resto is run by a sushi chef who also happens to run a 2-star Michelin sushi restaurant in Ginza, called Haruka. This sushi resto is so popular that it's almost impossible to get a reservation.

The burgers served here are all made with sushi ingredients!

What does the name mean?
Delicious + fucking= deli fu cious!
This restaurant's interior slightly feels like a Japanese public bathhouse, which gives it a very stylish feel.

The most popular burger!

This is the number one burger: the kombu fish burger (¥1,000 excluding taxes).
This burger is made with seasoned and sauteed cabbage, kombu taste fried fish with a tofu and dashi sauce. It makes for quite an impressive burger!
The kombu fish burger is made with seasonal fish to ensure the freshest and most delicious taste possible. When we went, it was made with fried Pacific Sea Bream.

As soon as you cut the burger in half, you can hear that nice crunch because the fish is perfectly fried. The cabbage adds a nice texture and taste.
The buns are fluffy and the fish is perfectly crispy and so is the cabbage. The mix of textures is awesome.
The fried fish is surprisingly not oily and the dashi, as well as the tofu sauce, go beautifully with the cabbage.
It's like nothing I've ever tasted before, it's a new type of addictively delicious burger.

Some fries with that?

The best accompaniment to a burger is undoubtedly french fries (¥500, excluding taxes).

What's original about the shoestring french fries is the sauce that comes with it!
This sauce is completely handmade from A to Z, well it's actually clam chowder!

This potage is rich and perfectly made and delicious on its own. However, if you dip french fries into it, it becomes dangerously addictive!

There are many other sushi-style dishes to try!

There are other sushi-style dishes to try at deli fu cious, such as the tempura conger eel served in a hot dog bun and the Edomae style horse mackerel fried burger. You'll probably never have this elsewhere.
Another popular menu item is this Japanese omelette made with dashi burger. This kind of omelette is something you would typically find at a Sushi restaurant.

There are so many delicious menu items to try here, so if you want to optimize your choices, why not order a lot and share with your friends?

To be honest, when I heard of a sushi chef making burgers, I was slightly skeptical. But after trying it myself, I was surprised at how delicious it is! The other menu items also piqued my curiosity, so I'll definitely be back there again soon!
You should definitely check it out for yourself for a new type of burger!
