Although YOGORO is about a 15-minute walk from Harajuku Station, you will still see people waiting in line as soon as it opens.
The dish we will introduce today, the pork curry, is only served 5 times a day!
If you arrive as it opens, you might already be too late. If you want to try this fantastic dish, be sure to arrive slightly before it opens, at 11:30 AM.

The impressive pork curry

The pork curry, only served 5 times a day, is served with a cheese topping (¥1,400)
This impressive curry dish is served in a piping hot dish; you can hear the crackling when it is served to you. It is served with a huge piece of pork, daikon and cheese on top.

The dish comes with a beautiful plate of saffron rice, in fact, you can get a large portion (300g) for free, and you can also get another serving for ¥150 more!

Slightly sweet and very soft spinach curry

First, the curry. This curry is made with spinach, and unlike normal curry, it is much softer and has a lovely texture.
The curry is slightly oily and creamy and also has a faint sweetness to it. As you continue eating it, you will also start tasting a spicy flavour as well.

Melt-in-your-mouth pork!

The meat is so tender, it can be cut in half with a spoon!
As soon as you take a bite of it, the meat bursts with flavours, it is even slightly sweet.

When you look at the size of the piece of pork, you think there's no way you can finish it. But, it's not very oily, and before you realize it, you'll finish the curry to the last drop.

To cancel the oiliness, daikon!

The huge piece of pork is filled with flavours and umami, however, it may seem a little on the heavy side.
This where the daikon comes in!
The daikon was simmered in dashi and is incredibly juicy and tender.
With the heaviness of the pork, the daikon is perfect for cancelling out the oiliness of the meat.

You should also try the chicken curry!

The pork curry is undoubtedly delicious, but it's limited to 5 servings per day.

Another delicious dish you can try at YOGORO is the perfectly cooked chicken curry.
It's crispy on the outside and the meat is very juicy. Be sure to try this one too!
