Kaitenzushi Oedo
Located at just a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku Station, this cozy little restaurant offers an authentic Japanese atmosphere with lots of options of fresh sushi. Also popular, the "okonomidon", a rice bowl in which you can choose the toppings, will surely make you satisfied. The prices range from 140 to 500 yen.
Numazuko
Very popular with tourists for its easy access and English menu, Numazuko is a hit. Enjoy over a 100 fresh ingredients or just nibble while drinking good sake from their selection. Customers spend from 2,000 to 4,000 yen, depending on their appetite!
Gansozushi - West Entrance Shinjuku
You may have to wait a bit in line to try this one! Conveniently located at the West entrance of Shinjuku Station, Gansozushi is famous for its big portions and reasonable prices. Try the Magurozukushi set that combines tuna's mostly fatty underbelly, medium-fatty and lean portions of tuna with egg. Yummy!
Himawari Zushi Shintoshin
Also located minutes from Shinjuku Station, Himawari Zushi is probably the best option cost-benefit wise. With a huge selection of fish and also delicious donburi (bowl of rice with sashimi on top), you can choose your favorites from the conveyor belt or order from their English menu. From 1,000 to 1,999 yen.
