Kobe Beef Yazawa Hankyu Sannomiya

This award-winning restaurant will not let you down! They offer the best cuts of Kobe beef, which you can try with shabu shabu or grilled steaks. Beware of the high prices, though! Expect to spend 10,000 yen per person for the most expensive cuts!

Shabu-shabu Sukiyaki Komon

Open for more than 50 years, this restaurant consistently delivers high-quality Kobe beef and varied fresh vegetables with a tasty broth.
The staff will prepare and serve everything, so you can enjoy your company and the traditional atmosphere. Not pricey for what you get - around 6,000 yen per person!

Tokeiya

With a retro Japanese decor, Tokeiya is a delight to all senses. The excellent service will get you everything from shabu shabu to sukiyaki, steaks and even sashimi! The prices vary from 9,500 yen for Kobe beef shabu shabu, to 4,500 yen for other domestic beef.

Watahan

Also located close to JR Sannomiya station, this one is famous for their Mita beef. Only 1000 Mita cows are slaughtered a year in Japan, so be sure to try it! Served as shabu shabu or sukiyaki, with reasonable prices ranging from 4,000 yen to 7,000 yen.

Iwaduya

If you want a break from all that beef and also be kind to your pocket, Iwaduya is an excellent choice! With the pork shabu shabu starting at 1,000 yen, they also have delicious vegetable dishes from 300 yen! Pheew!
