Shibuya

Looking for good shabu shabu in Shibuya? Check out these 5 selected restaurants that are within an 8-minute walking distance from the Shibuya Station.

Feel free to follow favy!

Shabuzen しゃぶ禅

Shabuzen is arguably the best shabu shabu restaurant for the price in Shibuya. Open only for dinner time, it serves all-you-can-eat options that include Japanese wagyu beef with lots of marbling. All-you-can-eat options start from ¥4,000. The simple traditional decor is quite nice too. You could go there on a date or with your family and friends and the venue would be suitable. For all-you-can-eat high-quality shabu shabu, this is the place.

Tajimaya 但馬屋

Looking for a cheap lunch option? This is the place! They offer incredibly cheap all-you-can-eat buffets. The most expensive being ¥1,550 for 90 minutes. Other options are cheaper but the amount of meat you can order is limited. Still, the udon noodles, the rice, the vegetables and ice cream are all-you-can-eat.

Atari

This place is a nice dining bar that has a classic, warm atmosphere. You can have a good shabu shabu course there for about ¥4,000 to which you can add an all-you-can-drink option. Their selection of Japanese sake is particularly good.

Shibuyabatake しぶや畑

This place is conveniently located near the Shibuya Hachiko exit (one minute walk). They have relatively cheap all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options. If you have both, it'll cost you about ¥6,000. Their name means "the vegetable field of Shibuya" so as you can imagine, they are quite particular about the veggies they serve. Another good point about this place is that every table is in a private room.

Nabezo 鍋ぞう

This is the Shibuya branch of a popular chain that has a total of 16 restaurants in Tokyo. Nabezo serves all-you-can-eat shabu shabu and sukiyaki. They use top quality beef, and vegetables from Japan, also they don't use and MSG's or additives.
Lunch starts at ¥1,600 (it includes meat, vegetables, rice and noodles).
Dinner starts at ¥2,600 (unlike lunch, it includes dessert).
Both are quite a good deal given they are all-you-can-eat, and shabu shabu tends to be pricey elsewhere in Tokyo!
