MOTHER

Looking for a perfect place for a girl's night out? This place is it! Very unique, mysterious and pieces of glass tiles studded everywhere on the wall, you feel like you are in a different part of the world. They play rock music, and the food they offer could be categorized as Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine.
People usually spend ¥2,000~2,999 on average.
For non-smokers, just a heads up that smoking is allowed in this bar and there is no separate smoking room.
Just a 3 minute walk from Shimokitazawa station.

Rabukyou / TOMBOY (らぶきょう・TOMBOY)

If you are craving Thai food and you also want to have some drink - try this place. This cafe turns into a bar called TOMBOY at night, and just by looking at the photo above you can tell how fun it would be to drink here. Their food menu is great too, so make sure to check it out.
Around a 3 minute walk from Shimokitazawa station, north exit.
People usually spend less than ¥1,000.

Bar Secondo TABACCHI

Around a 5 minute walk from Shimokitazawa station, in a very quiet area, this place offers unique alcohol that the owner found in all around the world. If you tell what your favorite flavor is, they can make a special cocktail for you. Original cocktail could be a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it. Wooden interiors create warm, cozy yet classy atmosphere. People usually spend ¥4,000~4,999 here.

TROUBLE PEACH

This rock bar is well known for its popularity among musicians and celebrities, and where people settle after a long night of drinking. They have EAT PEACH on the first floor where lots of regulars gather, and PEACH BOY on the fourth floor where it has more calm and relaxing atmosphere. It is open until 7 in the morning, so you don't have to worry about missing your last train!
This is the perfect place to experience Shimokitazawa's night life! Around a 10 minute walk from Shimokitazawa station. People usually spend around ¥2,000~2,999.

ALGONQUIN'S BAR (アルゴンキンズ バー)

If you are a Soul and R&B music lover, this is perfect for you! It is a hidden bar in Shimokitazawa, around a 10 minute walk from Shimokitazawa station, south exit.
You get to enjoy music talk with the owner!
People usually spend ¥2,000~2,999 here.
Shimokitazawa is a lively town in Tokyo especially at night. There are many bars that is open until morning and most of them are really close to the station. If you are looking for a fresh and new night life in Tokyo, Shimokitazawa could be it.
