JBS Shibuya

Kobayashi-san, the owner, DJ and bartender at JBS (Jazz, Blues, Soul) is one of the coolest characters in Shibuya.
Sip your drink slowly while Kobayashi-san plays tunes from his 11,000 records collection. The drinks are varied and cheap, from 500 yen. If you want to escape the madness of Shibuya's streets, this is the place to be.

Vent

Vent opened its doors in 2016 and since then has consistently been rated one of the best clubs in Tokyo. Due to their unique sound system, cool decor, and high-class lineup, Vent attracts flocks of techno and house lovers every weekend.

Commune 246

Hidden in an alley in Omotesando, Commune 246 is a small but charming cluster of food trucks. With more than 15 restaurants and cafes, you can choose from vegan and vegetarian options to Thai and German food. And all sorts of drinks too, of course.
Perfect for happy hour or a warm up before you hit one the clubs around Omotesando.

ThunderBolt

If you are pulling an all-nighter around Nakameguro, you'll probably end up at ThunderBolt.
Open from 8 PM to 8 AM, this small bar has very lively staff and unique decor. Good music - mostly rock - cheap drinks, and a delicious curry will keep you awake and entertained all night.

Bauhaus

And finally, for all the hard-rock fans out there, Bauhaus! Open since 1981, it's a very traditional live venue in Roppongi. What's incredible about Bauhaus is that the super talented band not only will play all night but will also pour you drinks and mingle with the audience in between sets! Rock on!
